Job Description

Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is based at our Fento, MO (St. Louis) facility.

In this function you will:

  • Performs a variety of administrative and special duties. This can range from coordinating and handling domestic travel arrangements and meetings and managing schedules to pulling together information for reports and presentations as needed

  • Acts as a point of contact to answer routine and complex questions and furnish information.

  • Maintains electronic distribution lists, Division email and regular mailboxes and manages regular disbursement of personnel and other electronic announcements

  • Manages office supply orders and ensures proper supplies are ordered as needed
    Schedules appointments and manages logistics for meetings and travel

  • Is a liaison to Corporate fleet department as well as 3rd party vendor and assists with annual/ongoing field fleet administration processes and reporting

  • Partners with functions a needed such as finance, HR and payroll  in addition to other administrative professionals to ensure division and site consistency

  • Maintains a dedicated knowledge of procedures, with a broad knowledge of department, divisional products and company organization

  • Organizes and prepares Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents as needed to support the organization

  • Prepares regular reports and analysis pulling information from multiple sources

  • Routes or answers correspondence and expedites flow of work not requiring supervisor’s attention

  • Organizes and maintain files, correspondence, mailings, etc

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience is required in an administrative role.

  • Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship

  • Please note this position does not include relocation benefits. Only candidates within the immediate geographic area will be considered. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Institution

  • Prior experience supporting senior business leader

Position Criteria:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional presence are required.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required to include experience with programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to anticipate needs and work ahead without being instructed.

  • Demonstrated dependability and unquestioned integrity and trust, capable of handling confidential information.

  • Excellent organizational skills to handle increased workloads as required and flexibility to adapt to special circumstances and needs
