Eaton's Energy Automation Solutions Division is looking for a Lead Software Developer. This position is located at our office in St-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec.
As part of a multidisciplinary development team, the lead software developer will participate in the design and development of software and high technology projects in the field of analysis and modeling of electricity distribution networks and renewable energies.

Analyze technical specifications and engineering requirements.
Design innovative solutions well adapted to the needs of our customers.
Coordinate all stages of the development cycle in collaboration with the project manager.
Complete technology and cybersecurity assessment for RFPs.
Participate in the management of our internal IT infrastructures.
Collaborate with the support team to provide an unsurpassed customer experience.
Participate in design workshops and project deployment activities both locally and at customer sites.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in C++/C# programming.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment.
- Fluency in English, French (working proficiency).
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- Relocation is not being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 80km-radius of Montreal, Quebec will be considered.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL.
- Experience with Python.
