Operator - Steel (2nd Shift)

Job Description

Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking an Operator in our Steel department to join our team.  This position is based at our Washington, PA facility.

Position Overview:   

This position is responsible for beginning-of-line inspecting and producing of commercial electrical products.

In this function you will:
  • Operate production equipment including but not limited to welders, presses, and benders according to work instructions

  • Assemble switch boxes for welding 

  • Inspect finished product for quality per standard work instructions 

  • Put electrical products in appropriate cartons for shipment 

  • Palletize cartons per standard work instructions 

  • Maintain housekeeping in work area 

  • Perform above work on one or more lines

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of  Meadow Lands, PA will be considered.  Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends
