This position reports to the GM ANSEA for HYD and VG. The incumbent is responsible for leading multiple operational functions, such as Supply chain, Engineering / ACE, OPEX functions for Vehicle and Hydraulics business in Australia and New Zealand. Manage, direct, organize, support and meet the operational business performance VG/ HYD business in ANZ. Continue to drive operational excellence, streamline the current process, and continuous improvement initiatives in the organisation.

The role is responsible for leading local operations groups (i.e. Engineering, Supply chain, OPEX, etc.). Work closely with other functions, product groups and Global and regional functional teams to ensure sufficient functional process standardisation and establishment of set business goals and performance metrics.
Achieve high level of customer satisfaction with delivery, quality and services through Eaton High 5 metrics while establishing/delivering on continuous improvement cycles in alignment with company goals and objectives. An essential part of this result is to align the internal accountable functions with the external customer needs.
Build a high-performance culture and organizational capability in line with the BOC goals of the organization, developing early talent in an Inclusive and diverse organisation and appropriate levels of succession planning to ensure business sustainability and growth.
Integration with divisions/product groups for alignment of product plans, functional processes excellence and strategies. Develop strong cross functional relations with process owners.
Lead the key operations groups around ANZ ensuring appropriate levels of planning and execution of day to day operational performance, standard work and meeting of the ZERO SAFETY incident targets.
Lead the reporting teams to appropriate business culture transformations including Leadership attributes, Culture starts with me.
Familiarity and integration of Eaton business tools into the organization including EBS (Eaton Business System), Value Selling, Six Sigma, Eaton Lean System, and PRO-Launch (Product Launch). Key to the EBS implementation are key process compliance of Annual Goal setting and alignment, Contributions to positive Employee and Customer survey processes and results and SC and Operations Global Tools and metrics.
Deep dive optimisation and development/improvement programs around ACE/Engineering functions relative to effective planning processes, development of dashboard reporting and management reporting of Functional team outcomes.
Doing business right at all times and the role shall act as a company Steward on ensuring full compliance around the business Governance systems and business ethics for self and accountable teams.
Ensure that any potential ‘out of control’ processes impacting business continuity or workforce safety are addressed immediately / reported / escalated for rectification.
- Basic Qualifications: Education: Engineering degree; MBA or similar associated to.
Prior experience in and possess deep understanding of the Vehicle, Hydraulics industry (pref) and /or similar Industrial business.
Strong operations background, with highlights in Supply chain management (CPIM) or Engineering capacity.
Minimum 15 years industry experience with at least 5 years in senior management position.
Experience in working with multinationals (MNC's).
Successful development and execution of long- and short-term strategies that lead to accelerated performance in an industrial business. This accomplished through analysis, segmentation, and prioritization of various products, alliances and acquisition targets, and use of best practice tools to gain a deeper understanding of the value propositions of both existing and new customers and markets.
Good commercial knowledge and acumen.
Proven track record of building organizational capability and talent through effective recruiting, training, coaching, development and optimizing organizational design.
Strong leadership capabilities and business acumen.
Senior executive communication and presentation skills. Comfortable with public speaking.
