Eaton’s Vehicle Group division is currently seeking an Maintenance Machine Repairman to join our team. This position is based at our Auburn, IN facility.
The Maintenance Machine will perform maintenance and repair on a variety of machines
and equipment and complete preventative maintenance task. This individual will be expected to provide expertise while focusing on continuous improvements with equipment reliability

Provide preventative, predictive, and other maintenance services for all machinery, equipment, and buildings. This includes but is not limited to the maintenance of: mechanical and hydraulic presses, lathes and mills
- Support the TPM and PM programs
Lubricate and clean machines, equipment as needed
Problem solve machine downtime and make suggestions for improvement
Procurement of parts required for repair needs
Coordinate and support external maintenance/repair contractors
Ensure effective communication with supervisor and between shift operations

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) year’s Machine Maintenance or relevant military mechanical/maintenance experience or Machine Repairman Journeyman’s card
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic presses, lathes and mills
Utilize CNC software to effectively troubleshoot equipment
Must be able to operate shop mills, lathes, cylindrical grinder and surface grinder
