Eaton’s Corporate division is currently seeking a Sr. GTM Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our San Luis Potosi facility.

The Sr. GTM Analyst maintains and updates compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures.  The GTM Analyst reports to the GTM Supervisor. The Sr GTM Analyst is responsible for engagement delivery, customs compliance and quality, productivity and report management, and exception management.  Within the responsibility of project delivery, the GTM Analyst performs import classification under the Harmonized System and export classification, free-trade agreement (FTA) analysis (e.g., NAFTA, MX-Colombia, EU-MX), and post-entry activities as needed. Also, GTM Analyst has to support projects and be aware to continuous improvement of the processes into the team.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Execute FTA solicitation and qualification, ensuring all necessary documentation is retained to ensure full compliance; Ability to fully explain the rules of the FTA to internal customers, detailing why a particular item qualifies or does not qualify for the FTA

  • Carry out classification projects, including work with engineering and procurement, to ensure Eaton items are properly classified

  • Prepare all documentation needed to assist with Pre and Post Entry activities such as CF28, CF29, protests, refunds, drawback, Post entry amendments

  • Identify situations and events where formal communication is necessary; works with others to consider communication approaches; assists in the development of messaging.

  • Conduct projects and meetings with GTM Coordinators and stakeholders in order to review project progress

  • Demonstrates a high knowledge in Mexican and US Customs regulations. Able to provide advisory to businesses when needed
