Eaton’s Vehicles division is currently seeking an Senior Manufacturing Engineer Controls Expert to join our team. This position is based at our Reynosa facility.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer Control Expert is responsible to lead key project for the implementation of manufacturing process control devices best practices and new technology.

Develop maintenance infrastructure to improve operation metrics include but not limited to development of technicians, implementation of best practice maintenance systems, etc.
Develops project plans for equipment upgrades and new technology
Develops and documents manufacturing engineering process / equipment standards
- Provide automation solutions
Works with local and corporate AME on Equipment Request for Quotes
Works with equipment suppliers on New technology development
Works with equipment suppliers on new equipment development and standards compliance
Develops Validates equipment at supplier equipment development
Develops, updates and uses safety, quality and lean manufacturing standards.
Execute and partner with other competencies on Cost out projects
Applies and documents Equipment Lessons Learn
Complies to IATF 16944, OSHA, ISO
Actively Supports Plant initiatives (4DX, RIE, Cost out, EBS Pull)

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a manufacturing or controls engineer
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Industry 4.0 concepts (HMI, OEE, Data Collection, etc)
Self-Supervised – Little to no supervision required to obtain results
- Project Management
Knowledge of computers, assembly practices, tools and fixtures
Ability to communicate in English both verbally, in writing and make presentations.
Advance Problem Solving (A3, DMAIC, 3 x 5 why, 8D, 5 Phase, etc.)
- Lean Tools (VSM, Material Presentation)
- Six Sigma/Black Belt
Automotive Requirements and core tools knowledge
- ERP Structure Systems
- Equipment Maintenance Knowledge
- AutoCAD or Solid Works
- Bilingual (English/Spanish
