Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking an Industrial Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, CA location.
The primary function of the Industrial Sales Representative is to achieve assigned sales and order goals for Eaton products and services to customers in the Greater Toronto Area. This requires finding sales opportunities, contacting potential customers, demonstrating the industrial product or service and closing the sale with the customer. This role maintains the industrial end-user relationship directly while working with Eaton distributors and engineering consultants. Along with sales responsibilities, the Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for creating sales reports, maintaining files and reviewing competitors’ products against Eaton’s new products to stay competitive.

Drive profitable growth for Eaton in the industrial sector by maintaining a healthy custo• Build quotes utilizing the Eaton Bidman pricing tool, which includes reading and interpreting single line plans, product specifications and controls logic.
Understand the industrial market and how to obtain a competitive advantage versus competitors.
Attend Eaton’s new product launches to be able to inform clients on the latest innovations.
Enter purchase orders and arrange for customers to receive products or services in a timely manner.
Use the Eaton customer relationship management tool to track customer-specific quotes.
Assist customers with questions or concerns on post-sales matters.
Responsible for creating sales reports and report-outs to management list of preferred accounts, ongoing accounts and new accounts.
Identify and execute new business opportunities by leveraging our products and services offered.
Build relationships with Eaton customers and distributors and develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Daily proactive sales calls to maintain relationships with clients.

- College diploma in a technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of combined sales, marketing or customer support experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the electrical industry.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position, all applicants must live within 80 kilometers of Mississauga.
University degree in Engineering
Professional Engineer or Certified Electrical Technologist designation or working towards.
