Eaton’s Lighting division is currently seeking GTM Analyst  to join our team.
This position is based at our Monterrey facility.

The GTM Analyst  is responsible for maintain and update compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures.  The GTM Analyst reports to the GTM Supervisor. The GTM Analyst is responsible for engagement delivery, customs compliance and quality, productivity and report management, and exception management.  Within the responsibility of project delivery, the GTM Analyst performs free-trade agreement (FTA) analysis (e.g., NAFTA, MX-Colombia, EU-MX), and post-entry activities as needed or HS Determination based on a deeply technical analysis.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Execute  FTA solicitation and qualification, ensuring all necessary documentation is retained to ensure full compliance; Ability to fully explain the rules of the FTA to internal customers, detailing why a particular item qualifies or does not qualify for the FTA

  • Carry out qualification and Classification projects, to deliver them on time and enhance communication with GTM Managers and businesses to communicate monthly results and KPI’s to avoid any NAFTA Claims risk.

  • Prepare all documentation needed to assist with Pre and Post Entry activities such as CF28, CF29, protests, refunds, drawback, Post entry amendments.


Eaton has announced its intent to spin off its Lighting Business into publicly traded company (“SpinCo”).  This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2019 and this position is expected to remain with SpinCo.   The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices.  The Lighting Business is in the process of developing its total rewards philosophy, strategy and structure, including the design of its benefits and annual and long-term incentive plans that will take effect when SpinCo becomes a publicly traded company. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Lighting Business when SpinCo becomes an independent, publicly traded company, you will be eligible to participate in SpinCo’s compensation, health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans and programs and should have no expectations that SpinCo’s plans and programs will mirror or be substantially like Eaton’s.
