· The candidate should have strong background in solid mechanics with through understanding of finite element analysis fundamentals.

· He/She needs understand and handle non-linear analysis involving geometric, contact and material non-linear behavior.

· Incumbent should have understanding of vibrational & thermal fundamentals with working knowledge around stress and strain based failure predictions and methods.

· He/She should proactively look for various opportunities to validate his/her analytical predictions with physical testing to constantly mature DP capabilities.

· Candidate will be required to investigate problems and requirements of projects in discussion with local as well as global stakeholders.

· It is expected to develop plans for solutions ensuring successful conclusion of all phases of assigned projects, within an appropriate time.

· Candidate will be required to coordinate with other departments on assigned tasks and secure inputs from various stakeholders and make recommendations accordingly.

Qualifications

·  Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Applied Mechanics with Machine Design / Structural Mechanics / Computational Modeling specialization
