Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Maintenance Group Leader to join our team. This position is based at our Long Branch, NJ facility.

Develop work schedules, provides direction and oversees activities for facilities and maintenance staff
Maintain physical environment of facility and grounds including; electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, etc.
Specify, and may procure, raw materials necessary for facilities and grounds maintenance
Perform preventative and other maintenance services on production equipment and may train employees on correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
Inspect facility and grounds to ensure safety standards and other appropriate working conditions are maintained, reports and/or corrects any unsafe work practices or conditions
- May be asked to assist with training of other employees

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Long Branch, NJ will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Minimum five years of verifiable work experience in a maintenance/facilities role; military maintenance experience
Minimum of three years maintenance experience in either (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC)
- Basic math skills
Must be able to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
Must be able to fabricate parts for machine repairs, continuous improvements
Familiar with shop machinery such as lathes, mills, drill presses, sanders and grinders
- Must have an electrical aptitude / basic wiring
Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, construction, electrical, HVAC skills
