As a Business Development Manager, you will be steering growth of 3 phase UPS product lines and specific options in North region (UK, NL, Nordics, Baltics). In this role you will have a chance to work with state of art product offering in mission critical applications such as Datacenters, Healthcare, Marine and Commercial buildings. The position will offer also an excellent chance to give your contribution to energy transition by delivering innovative Energy Aware solutions to our customers.

 

Your key deliverables :

 

  • Pro-actively initiate and execute Power Quality & Electronic Division Critical Power Solution business development actions within Country Sales Offices in the area

  • Establish framework of cooperation with local country organizations (monthly reviews, scorecard, etc.)

  • Drive the increase of sales organization’s product & application knowledge by support, identifying training needs and transferring knowledge from more mature countries

  • Drive effective product launches in the area

  • Function as a Voice of the Customer channel when defining New products as part of New Product Development ProLaunch process

  • Manage and support local sales organizations in choosing the optimal local product portfolio out of the total Power Quality Division product range to support the selected products strategy and positioning

  • Consolidate local market input including local competitive landscape, pricing information as well general market trends and sharers the input with the specified audience.

  • Partners with PQED Product Managers and ensures they stay in close contact with markets and customers

  • Customer visits within the region

Qualifications

Are you?

 

Required:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business, or equivalent knowledge. MBA is a plus

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development or other relevant role

  • Good understating on requirements for electrical equipment in low voltage applications

  • At least basic knowledge of power electronics

  • Ability to learn, articulate, market and support complex products and technologies

  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects with tight deadlines

  • Ability to work in a highly international environment / in virtual teams (across different locations) / in a matrix organization

  • Willingness to take initiatives and drive them autonomously

  • Ability to think and act strategically

  • Must be strongly customer-oriented

  • Good written & oral communications skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English, other language skills are a plus

  • Good cultural awareness
