Eaton’s Aerospace Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking an Aftermarket Repair Station Operations Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Grand Rapids, Michigan facility.
The Aftermarket Repair Station Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership in driving improvements and meeting objectives in: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and overall customer satisfaction measurements. In this role, you will assess the performance indicators for each manufacturing facility to ensure that safety, capacity, quality, productivity and manufacturing costs are competitively maintained. In addition, you will analyze short and long term manufacturing requirements and capabilities of facilities. Drive change through improved organizational capability, providing leadership in recruiting, goal alignment, employee development, performance management and communication. Ensure motivation and retention of a high performance management team and workforce. Assure policies, procedures, and other documentations are established to provide for consistent and professional operation of all organizational functions. Develop budgets and resource plans, and monitors performance, to achieve product delivery and financial requirements. Lead Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Champion a culture of change within the workforce of teamwork, employee involvement, and continuous improvement through the implementation of High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs).
Lead the planning, organization, and staffing of the department.
Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance.
Develop plans and schedules, and priorities for the business team to meet long-term contracts and/or customer requirements.
Manage capital planning and execution of process for the Grand Rapids site.
Increase labor productivity, and lead cost reduction efforts.
Champion implementation of MESH to achieve improvement in year over year safety performance measures.
Mentor and coach high performance work team members in improvement activities including training, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.
Administer policies, safety and communications within the group.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution required.
1-3 years of supervisory experience.
FAA Repair Station experience.
Lean/Six Sigma experience or certifications.
Aerospace industry experience.
