Leading resources and providing strategic & tactical direction to Portal Development & Support team for technologies including Oracle WCP (WebCenter Portal), UCM (Universal Content Management), AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) & SP (SharePoint)
Leads multiple projects in collaboration with multi-functional teams and ensures development and delivery of quality code
Analyze support request to identify the root cause and provide resolution. Work closely with other Eaton enterprise sectors/groups to implement solutions
Monitor support request tickets on regular basis and provide timely resolution and closure of the tickets
Ensures incidents and requests raised by application users, process owners and others through Remedy are addressed within agreed SLAs set
Leverage standard IT work processes and ITSM methodologies to manage and measure work and to drive continuous improvement
Solving complex technical problems to ensure platform sustainability and performance, including problem identification, investigation, planning and resolution
Working with peers to establish group level strategic planning, goal identification, scorecard enhancements, setting standards & guidelines
Acting as a coach and mentor for Portal IT Development& Support team
Lead Agile Scrum practices and contribute in sprint planning, demo and retrospective
Must possess ability to effectively manage vendor resources
Establish short-medium-long term organizational objectives and strategy to achieve goals
Foster a culture within the team to make work more exciting, engaging and meaningful for team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years of team management experience
At least 8+ years in Information Technology with hands on experience on Web Development and Support.
Experience in administering, configuring and supporting Enterprise Applications.
Experience with application server / web server / OS / database understanding.
Experience in setting up and managing support / Development organization.
Desirable to have experience with Oracle WebCenter Portal, Oracle UCM and AEM.
Requires strong analytical, problem solving, and action-driven competencies.
Able to manage rapid and unanticipated changes, which require constant re-prioritizing.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and Team Player.
