The primary function of the Technical Support Engineer is to provide technical support for Eaton Lighting Products. The position would include assisting customers with the selection of lighting fixtures based on application requirement, troubleshooting, and application assistance received via Email, Nanorep & Online marketing portals
This exciting role offers opportunity to:
Should have understanding on technical aspects of lighting components.
Should have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and be able to understand and resolve customer application issues.
Provide efficient and accurate pre-sale application and technical support by analyzing and recommending solutions to meet customer’s needs.
Cross reference competitive products.
Work with product managers for the custom solutions
Generate and communicate sales leads to field sales organization and product line.
Effectively communicate product value proposition and product line strategies.
Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics)
3-5 years of experience in lighting industry (Pre – sales, Application Engineering, Customer Support)
Technically sound with problem solving skills
Drive for results and collaborative style
Excellent communication Skills
Presentation and training skills
Initiative and self-management skills
Customer service skills
Basic knowledge on AutoCAD will be an added advantage
