Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Las Piedras facility.
Lead the manufacturing function within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards. Full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met. Responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team by building working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading teams. Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are maintained at all times.
Responsible for plant production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities
Ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
Hire, train, coach and supervise employees to attain optimum performance considering every employee.
Ensure health and safety processes and procedures are met by all employees working in manufacturing department.
Lead and motivate all subordinates to fulfill schedules, improve control costs and quality. Ensure to promote atmosphere allowing them to use best of their skills.
Monitor and conduct disciplinary methods for all subordinates.
Perform with teams and supply chain management to ensure stable stream of inventory.
Design, prepare and record test and manufacturing methods to ensure high quality and efficiency.
Comply with entire Q/A manual to assure shipping of high quality products.
Maintain feasible schedules of entire product teams and expedite material as needed.
Maintain and present training to subordinates on every manufacturing procedure, processes and equipment.
Attend monthly staff meetings and provide input regarding required department measurements.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of five to eight years of experience Managing Areas in manufacturing environment.

Product construction understanding Lean Enterprise Concepts and Tools
Key design parameters for the products Lean and Six Sigma Concepts and Tools
Product application knowledge Simultaneous Products and Process
