Technical Support Engineer

  • Primary tasks include analyzing failure, gathering information from internal experts about product capabilities relative to specific customer needs, finishing root cause report, and determines appropriate solution and/or responses. Design, develop, deliver, and manage training to support sales efforts 

  • Provide UPS technical support to analyze failure, include wiring, installation, configuration, start up UPS operation and so on, to solve UPS application issues

  • Collect application requirement information to draft reports and finish root cause report for closed UPS issues under investigation 

  • Provide product/application training to field service team, when required

  • Coordinate with others in completing the assigned tasks, such as UPS Factory Acceptance Test based on projects in Lab


 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Majored in in Automation or Electrical Engineering
  • Related experience in UPS technical support, UPS development, or related role e.g. application engineer within the Power Supply Equipment, Power inverter, UPS
