We are looking for EH&S and Facilities Manager in Eaton’s Power Quality Sector, based in Mascot, Australia.

This role will provide environmental, health, safety and security leadership to Electrical ANZ organization; Oversee all facility-related activities at Mascot site and provide facility-related support at other site locations.


Your essential responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct site in achieving EH&S targets and objectives.

  • Direct development, maintenance and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EH&S strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain site ISO & OHSAS-related certifications
  • Assure accurate and complete EH&S reporting of metrics
  • Facilitate risk assessment to identify critical EH&S hazards and aspects

  • Manage injuries and workers compensation claims
  • Drive and promote zero incident EH&S culture
  • Oversee facility maintenance of the Mascot facility and provide support to other locations

 

Qualifications

If you have:
  • Degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training; ideally with experience in implementation of ISO14001 and AS/NZS4801 management systems

  • Certified first aider, fire warden; Training and experience in multi-state worker's compensation management & return-to-work programs

  • Strong communication, organization and project management skills
