The primary focus of this position is to develop and lead Operational Excellence initiatives for the Global HR Technology (HRT) team. This position will drive the implementation of the HRT continuous improvement framework; define and deliver measurable improvements/efficiencies in HRT processes; collaborate with business partners and stakeholder groups to ensure quality measures and processes align to the business and function strategy.
Develops Operational Excellence Goals and drives implementation within the HR Technology team.
Collaborates with HR COE, IT and HRT leaders to understand business needs and translate those needs into process documents that will be used to develop business or technology process improvements.
Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives and Voice of Customer Events to ensure achievement of tangible outcomes in line with the business needs and strategy.
Defines measures of success and follow-up post implementation to determine and report results.
Regularly reviews and documents internal processes and identifies opportunities.
Assists in maintaining data integrity in systems by running reports and analyzing data.
Collects and documents feedback and data from COEs, customers, end users, and other team members on process improvements.
Identifies recurring issues from cases, collects data and documents support from end users, performs and documents tests in production and QA systems to assist in root cause and impact analysis.
Researches HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws by conducting large data analysis and system tests to identify patterns, impacted users, groups or regions.
Documents results of analysis and works with technical support team on issue urgency and resolution.
Participates in Project Teams for new system implementation, patches, upgrades or enhancements.
Gives coaching and development to assigned direct reports.
Evaluates staff performance by using Talent Management tools and performance metrics.
Monitors individual performance and establishes the proper goals and development opportunities to motivate employees and ensure continued growth.
Participates in staffing activities to recruit and secure qualified candidates for assigned regional teams.
- Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum five years professional experience include two years’ leading continuous improvement initiatives within an IT, HR or other Support Organization or Function.
Three-years’ experience in process documentation and improvement
- One-year experience conducting data analysis
- One-year experience working on project teams
Certification in Continuous Improvement Methodology (within one year of hire)
- Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- One-year project management experience
- One-year supervising others
Three years of HRIS, IT, Continuous Improvement or other related system experience.
- Experience with SQL
