Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Lincoln, IL facility. Relocation assistance will be provided.
This position directs and manages the purchasing industrialization & maintenance of products and develops the latest technology of manufacturing techniques with full responsibility of projects. In this role, you will select and negotiate with major material commodity suppliers and corporate teams & integration project leaders. You will coordinate process improvement with suppliers to achieve business objectives.

Coordinate process improvement with suppliers to achieve lowest total cost and business objectives.
Establish and maintain routing and manufacturing data (B.O.M.’s parts masters, & part card)
Coordinate purchasing industrialization of projects as project leader.
Submit purchase orders and releases for major material commodities.
Interview major suppliers and negotiates materials & tooling/Machine requirements for manufacturing production teams.
Consult with corporate teams for supplier/materials selections and advises latest technology for manufacturing product teams.
Adhere to all corporate EHS requirements and guidelines when making supplier decisions. Gather information necessary to the decision-making process when considering suppliers, according to EHS requirements.
Engineer product design changes for improving product performance, efficiency, and processes.
Direct and train subordinates in materials functions.
Coordinate manufacturing teams in customer satisfaction on time delivery.
Implement and direct engineering changes into production, instructing and training personnel and subordinates.
Compute and implement cost reduction projects.
Contribute analysis to design & Marketing team conferences and corporate conferences.
Manage integration projects as project team leader.

Adhere to all facility safety guidelines and identifies potential hazards to reduce or eliminate them.
Maintain organization and cleanliness in work area and supports all procedures set forth to assure product and process quality and plant manufacturing principles

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a supply chain or manufacturing function.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship both now and in the future.
Strong experience implementing, utilizing or reporting on a Kanban system
Experience working directly with vendors and suppliers from a purchasing standpoint
Knowledge required on MRP or ERP system (AS400)
Experience working directly with products being manufactured by plant operations
General knowledge on corporate ethical & purchasing practices and policies.
Specialized manufacturing skills project leading integration projects as project manager.
Good communication practices with peers & outside contacts (Interpersonal).
