Eaton’s Industrial sector is currently seeking a Machinist on 1st shift to join our team. This position is based at our White City, OR.
Set up and operate a CNC Lathe and Machine Center plus other manual equipment to perform a normal range of operations on cylinder components generally 6 inch bore or less
Operations include drilling, threading, tapping, recessing, finish turning, single point treading, boring, forming, reaming, counter boring, counter-sinking, spot facing, deburring and other similar machining operations to produce standard cylinder components
Clean and oil of parts
Work with ferrous and nonferrous metals
Inspection and quality of all parts

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Must have the equivalent of 1 year experience in set up and operation of CNC lathes, plus drilling, milling and manual machining.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of White City, OR will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
CNC programming experience
Ability to read and use blueprints
Abilities in the use of micrometers, calipers, indicators, and various other measuring instruments.
