This exciting role is a part of HR team and this position is responsible for helping functional objectives by providing HR Business Partnership to business groups at Eaton India Innovation Center and will be reporting to the HR Manager. Support respective teams for establishing and maintaining positive employee relationships, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition and management, compensation, training, and broader HR initiatives and HR programs aligned with short and long-term business objectives. The person in this position will also be responsible for assisting in the deployment of human resources policies and procedures, matrices and their dissemination through employee communications, and/or meetings.  

 

 

Your essential responsibilities:

 

  • Execute Eaton’s HR systems and HR initiatives for one of our business verticals within EIIC.

  This would include.

 

  • Supports achievement of overall EIIC objectives through the implementation of effective HR strategy.

  • Ensures company values and principles are sustained and takes initiative on Process improvement, and is focused on building functional excellence, innovation, talent development and operational excellence.

  • Ability to assess and select top talent in a timely manner while utilizing Eaton staffing center resources and partnering with hiring managers. Plan for workforce requirement and partner with Talent Acquisition Center to “Hire Right” and analyze metrics that measure the success of staffing efforts.

  • Through the performance management system assure that annual employee job performance assessments are conducted. This includes the annual goal setting process, the annual assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization. Guide, support, orient and train employees and managers through the entire APEX cycle. Provide coaching and consulting to employees on effective performance management intervention. 

  • Build capability in the organization through proactive and robust performance management and development planning at all levels. Monitoring the development plan completions at business level and helping with necessary interventions as required.

  • Support and execute comprehensive retention strategies, through progressive HR practices, tools and market analysis

  • Training and Development: Manage these processes to facilitate employee development.
    Promotes positive employee relations and employee engagement

  • Plan for Employee Satisfaction Surveys, encourage maximum participation, help analyze and explain results, and coach managers and teams in action planning exercises, follow-through on action plans to increase scores on all dimensions of survey

  • Communication process: Assuring two way communications processes between employees and management, through skip levels, Business group meeting, One on One etc.

  • Talent Development: Develop talent by leveraging various tools and processes. Ensure succession planning and leadership pipeline development

  • Drive HR functional excellence through deployment of Eaton programs, internal HR Scorecards, ensuring quality of process and content alignment with the Eaton Business system

  • Partner the Operational excellence for the Sector and business verticals.

  • Provides guidance & handle queries on human resource management policies, processes and systems. Advocate employee communications processes that inform employees as well as to assure two way communications between employees and management

  • Partner with local and remote peers including HR Business Partners , TAC , EU, HRS team and HR site leads to work collaboratively, share best practices, leverage projects and learnings, and drive consistency in programs, practices, and communications where appropriate.

  • Foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees

  • Promotes positive employee relations and employee engagement. Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievement

  • As a business partner should be able to ensure Coaching, Consulting and provide facilitation skills to the business. Provides guidance and direction to managers, employees on human resource management policies, processes and systems

  • Promotes positive employee relations and employee engagement. Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievement

  • Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s ethics, goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement. Promote participation in in various Employee councils  within the organization

  • In addition to Generalist responsibility, lead specific projects in EIIC.

  • Good in communication at all levels. Strong in Influencing and Facilitation skills , ability to work in cross – functional teams, effective presentation and consultation skills, strong data analysis and representation skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively navigate and influence sensitive situations 

  • Maintain HR Matrices, Functional Excellence Scorecards and Dashboards. Implement the strategies through various Insights.

  • Use data for driving decisions

  • Retention of talent. Maintaining below the threshold

  • Achieving PP targets for headcount and diversity

     


Qualifications

If you have:

  • Full time MBA in Human Resources with around 7-9 years of experience in Human resource management (generalist or specialist) in a multinational / matrix organization setup.
  • Should have ability to work with leadership team to drive HR agenda. Good interpersonal & People management skills.
  • Experience with Engineering & R & D centres, Manufacturing will be an added advantage
