Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Lincoln, Illinois.

Prepares actual financial statements and rolling forecast reports. Serves as the backup for all capital/fixed asset responsibilities

In this function you will:
- Review Oracle reports for accuracy.
Prepare management information reports pertaining to financial statements, variance analysis and budgets.
Input forecast data into the Encore system.
Forecast financial information to division headquarters and world headquarters.
Make all authorized transactions to the corporate fixed asset capital project database and requests reports for plant management. (backup)
- Review journal entries.
Communicate with division personnel using p.c. formats (Excel spreadsheets and reports).
- Perform account reconciliations.
Serve as lead financial person in cost of quality reporting. This may include changing account coding and making general recommendations to help achieve corporate objectives for improvements in cost of nonconformance. Communication with Lincoln quality manager will be frequent.
Assist the controller in the annual profit plan
Prepare detailed warranty analysis & researches information in order to make recommendations or give explanations to management.
Serve as the leader of the Concur travel and expense reporting process.
Adhere to all facility safety guidelines and identifies potential hazards to reduce or eliminate them.
Maintain organization and cleanliness in work area and supports all procedures set forth to assure product and process quality and plant manufacturing principles.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years accounting/finance experience.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Working knowledge of corporate asset and capital projects system, Encore, Oracle, Vista, and Mapics. Strong working knowledge of Excel and strong personal computing skills.
Knowledgeable about the Oracle journal entry procedures.
Understand the account structures and understand financial statements.
Conformance to Environmental Management System requirements.
Compliance to all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
