As a Key Account Manager you will develop and execute our CEU (Central European) sales plan to targeted customers in designated geography and/or industry with the objective of maximizing sales volume, product/platform mix, and profit margin. Among your duties you will deal with Hydraulic Business especially promoting our sales with Pumps, Motors, Valves, Electronics, but also incl. Hoses and Fittings.

 

You will work within a Sales Team  of 7 people overall and will report to Sales Manager Mobile OEM.

 
Your main duties:
  • Develop and execute tactical and strategic sales plans in support of the overall sales strategy and to meet performance expectations and requirements 
  • Take ownership for meeting sales targets
  • Prepare sales presentations to create product understanding and awareness
  • Build close relationships with key personnel within key customers to enhance sales volume, customer satisfaction and long-term business prospects. Prepare sales proposals based on customer needs and expectations, ensuring these match Eaton’s capability and offerings
  • Advise and influence customers, creating and developing opportunities for Eaton
  • Administer all phases of the sales process to insure effective and timely customer service and response
  • Identify opportunities for new and extension business in short and longer term
  • Monitor sales performance versus plan and take corrective actions as needed
  • Review and report regularly to the Sales Manager Mobile OEM’s for the CEU region on sales activity and performance to plans
  • Collect and summarized customer intelligence used as key input to develop marketing and sales plans
  • Monitor competitive market data and formulate appropriate responses to protect and grow market share
  • Gain credibility with customer and in industry market place
 
 

Qualifications

What we are looking for:
Required:
 
  • Bachelor degree desirable
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a sales role at a fluid power company 
  • Technical Skills for Pumps, Valves, Motors and systems are mandatory. Additional Fluid Conveyance knowledge is desirable
  • Fluent English  and German language skills  are mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills: convincing and influencing, drive and enthusiasm , strong team player
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, relationships and leverage diversity
  • Established relationship with key hydraulic customers, proven sales experience within the Hydraulics market
  • Demonstrated strategic ability, and business acumen
  • Professional attitude (does the right things and does the things right, = effective and efficient)
 
Desired:
  • Ability and desire to move to a higher leadership position within the business
  • Available to travel throughout the Central EU Region
