Job Description

Eaton’s Solutions division is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility.


The Logistic Coordinator is Responsible to lead relationship with Freight Bill Audit (FBA) providers in Mexico, support operations to solve FBA situations on logistics providers payments. Maintain and update documents to reflect current requirement and procedures for freight payment supplier in Mexico. Provide logistics transportation analysis for all Mexico entry ports (inbound/outbound), identify and promote Logistics Cost Out initiatives analysis and support implementations and contribute to support Mexico Logistics strategy implementation in Mexico. This position is responsible to identify and capture the benefits of synergies among Eaton plants in the region. Work across the regions with other regional peers to benchmark and find the best solutions and transferable processes.

Coordinate sourcing, negotiation, and program management of Logistics services with global or local suppliers in alignment with IPO and Corporate Logistics.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Freight Payment productivity to be an intermediary between the sites (Finance & Imp/export) and Freight Payment supplier.

  • Transportation sourcing and management analysis knowledge applicable to all our carriers.

  • Support to the sites with the resolution and payment issues and keep the carrier information and audit rules updated.

  • Responsible to get information from the Mexico sites to report the inbound and outbound operation flow to drive analysis and performance with the logistics strategy.

  • Support with analytics the cost out projects.

  • Work with the Mexico sites to be in alignment with the Logistics strategy in Mexico supporting the initiatives in place to achieve it.

  • Collaborate, leverage, negotiate, and deploy contracts/programs that satisfy stakeholder requirements and reduce the total cost of materials and services.

  • Manage contracts, supplier performance and risks, negotiate claims and support operations as escalation point.

  • Create long-term supplier relationships that lead to optimal pricing, quality improvements, process improvements and on-time delivery performance.
