We established Eaton’s EMEA Business Service Center in 2015 where more than 600 people are working on what matters. Our mission is to provide high value services to support internal and external customers across Eaton’s Electrical, Hydraulics, and Corporate functions in EMEA.


Come and join our Credit team, a diverse community of motivated and experienced professionals. As a Credit Risk Analyst, your main responsibility will be ton perform controls and processes that drive adherence to EMEA Credit Procedures (covering all EMEA Hydraulics portfolio mainly). You will work as a ‘Business Partner’ with finance, sales & (senior) management across EMEA.  Your goal will be to keep financial losses at a minimum by ensuring customers’ credit limits are checked against 3rd party credit recommendations,
 
 
 
You will make a difference by:
 
•Using analysis to identify pro-actively potential credit risks.
•Setting out the credit risk of new and existing customers to support senior management's commercial decisions using:
    ◦3rd party credit recommendations
    ◦own / team analysis.
•Managing the various related ERP processes / systems.
•Submitting and obtaining approval for all credit limits and manage release of credit-blocked orders.
•Ensuring that the full portfolio is compliant to Credit Procedures & that relevant ERP credit limit data is up-to-date
•Conducting creditworthiness checks on new & existing customers using 3rd party credit agencies.
•Using & developing your own financial analysis skills.
•Providing recommendations to management & help negotiate acceptable solutions / risk mitigations where required.
•Supporting the standard Credit KPIs together with collection teams (Past Due, Collection Efficiency & DSO).
•Assist with some financial reporting & Atradius Credit Insurance reporting.

Qualifications

Your experience matters:
 
•Very good English - written & spoken.
•Experience of working effectively with team members & internal customers.
•Ideally: Experience with ERP systems & processes.
•1 year experience in an international finance / credit  / or order-processing roles, ideally somewhere within the order to cash processes.
•Basic or good understanding of corporate credit risk analysis - or willingness to learn this.
•Good IT skills (experience with Oracle is a plus)
•University degree is preferred but not essential
