Customer Account Coordinator

Job Description

 Eaton’s Lighting division is currently seeking an Account Coordinator to join our team.

This position is based at our Monterrey facility.

The Account Coordinator is responsible for Provide single point of contact for commercial support to our distributors and sales engineers and interact frequently with Eaton’s manufacturing plants and warehouses. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Email / System and PHONE support – fluent in English in written and oral communication

  • Will be taking phone calls direct from US customers / consumers

  • Focused on Sports Lighting and Retail Products

  • SAP Transactions as they relate to the Consumer / Retail channel

  • SAP Transactions for post sales issues for the Sports Lighting channel

  • C360 (Service Request) transactions

  • Fulfill order management related activities for distributors

  • Drive customer affinity by delivering exceptional Customer Service (meeting or exceeding phone

  • and email metrics as well as team service level agreement)

  • Identify and implement process improvements

  • Change notice management

  • Facilitate proper and efficient information flow to meet or exceed customer needs and

  • departmental and division wide performance expectations

  • Ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced environment requiring diligence to detail

  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to constructively manage conflicts and discrepancies towards positive resolution

  • Prioritizing customer demand to assist with improved product flow

  • Work with finance team to resolve customer credit requests

    Eaton has announced its intent to spinoff its Lighting Business into publicly traded company (“SpinCo”).  This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2019 and this position is expected to remain with SpinCo.   The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices.  The Lighting Business is in the process of developing its total rewards philosophy, strategy and structure, including the design of its benefits and annual and long-term incentive plans that will take effect when SpinCo becomes a publicly traded company. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Lighting Business when SpinCo becomes an independent, publicly traded company, you will be eligible to participate in SpinCo’s compensation, health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans and programs and should have no expectations that SpinCo’s plans and programs will mirror or be substantially similar to Eaton’s.

Required Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

•           Four year degree from an accredited institution required

•           Minimum customer interaction experience (3 years)

•           High Ability to speak, write, and read English – Fully bilingual


Preferred Qualifications:

•           Knowledge of CRM software and SAP

•           Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office  (word, excel, email, internet)

•           Strong listen, written and verbal communication skills

•           Knowledge of Vista, VOTW and Mentor software
