Stacker - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s Power Systems Division is currently seeking a 2nd shift Stacker to join our team.  Pay starting at $18.45/hour, depending on experience.  This position is located at our Badger Drive location on our Small Transformers Assembly Line and has core hours from 3pm – 11pm.


The Stacker is responsible for production of all types of Transformers in a continuous flow environment to meet the agreed upon customer requirements. This position will be responsible for the core coil assembly & kitting process, though low-voltage lead assembly.  Responsible for performing the various job functions as described in the job description at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality. Operators must be willing to perform various duties and assist all other team members as needed to meet Takt Time of Transformers through the continuous flow line.

In this function you will:
  • Perform a visual inspection of the previous operation for defects.

  • Complete the assembly of low voltage lead assembly as directed on the OPS.

  • Core coil assembly.
  • Core and coil assembly kitting.
  • Complete kit assembly including items as directed on the OPS.
  • Collaborate on production support assembly.
  • Perform a visual inspection of components used at every station.  
  • Build sub-assemblies to be delivered to other areas of the continuous flow process.

  • Field return/ Repair assembly.
  • Repair units and components that have failed test, are defective, or require other needed changes.

  • Participate in teardown, repair and modification of customer supplied equipment as directed by the engineering or quality departments.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.

  • The ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship is required.

  • No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within the 50 miles of Waukesha, WI in order to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
