Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a GTM Sr. Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Zapopan office.
The GTM Sr. Analyst is responsible for accomplishing the customs clearance on time according with the business requirements, as well as reporting KPIs of their operation in charge to detect and improve the process.

Some activities related with the position will be:
Coordinate the best freight option to pick up and delivery materials according with business needs
Manage freight payments according with Eaton policies and procedures
Execute all applicable Mexico import/export compliance processes and procedures in conjunction with various Trade Compliance functions within Eaton and external resources; to perform, maintain and enhance the import and export operations.
Execute all applicable Mexico virtual import/export operation in compliance with Mexican regulations timely fashion.
Stay up-to-date with the Law and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operations to grant the business tax health.
Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes in the tax system used at the company: STA (Vastera)
Collaborate to achieve metrics and goals related with Logistics Trade Compliance metrics.
Responsible for maintaining in order the electronic and hard copy records keeping for the Customs Operations performed in Mexico such as Pediments, HTS catalogs, reports of Annex 31, in compliance with IMMEX program, Customs Trade Law, Annex 24, Annex 22, Annex 19 among others.
Provide Customs clearance support to the business.
Oversee inventory reconciliation of Fixed Assets vs Import Records.
Ability to work with the business to validate the necessary information related with Raw Materials, finished goods, outsourced services requested to clear customs in compliance with Mexican regulations.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Trade Compliance/Customs Law or related
- 5 years of experience required
Knowledge of all FTA that currently exist in Mexico, In-depth knowledge of Vastera and ERP transactions
Negotiation skills, fluent in English, communication skills
