As Continuous Improvement Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for taking a major role in Eaton/Ulusoy Production System activities and in projects relating to continuous improvement master plan.


Your key deliverables:

  • Supporting the periodical updates relating to standard operating procedures(SOP)
  • Taking part in ergonomically designed workstations kaizens
  • Taking part in Yamazumi diagram and value-stream mapping kaizens
  • Regarding value analysis, taking part in non-value elimination kaizens
  • Ensuring the continuous improvement culture is deployed effectively within the employees
  • Taking leadership on 10 steps Kaizens
  • Taking a role in process-oriented layout projects
  • Taking a role in Industry 4.0 pilot projects


Are you?

  • Minimum Bachelor’s level degree in relevant disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experiences in Lean Manufacturing practices in method, process or manufacturing areas
  • In depth experiences in continuous improvement activities, muda, muri, mura elimination, 5S, kaizen and TPM studies
  • Hands-on experience in implementation of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), methods-time management (MTM), spaghetti diagram, single minute exchange of dies (SMED) on the field
  • Experienced in management of lean manufacturing projects
  • Ideally experienced in sheet metal processing, machining, coating, pressing, welding, injection and assembly processes
  • Ideally has relevant know-how relating to Medium Voltage Switchgear products
  • Holds advanced level of English
  • Has relevant know-how relating to quality management systems (FMEA & QA)
  • Has strong analytical thinking skills with a balanced view on detail orientation and operational management
  • Able to work as part of a team with a high level of process- & results-orientation
