Operations Quality Manager

 

The primary function of the Operations Quality Manager is to lead the definition, execution and deployment of the operational aspects of the in conjunction with the Plant Quality manager leadership team.

This serves as the Management representative for the operational areas of the business covering Machine, Treatments and assemble and Test. Manages the quality staff allocated to these areas of the business

 

Your key deliverables:

 

  • Leads the development, implementation, and improvement of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation,

  • Participates in and/or may lead the auditing of internal Quality Systems and completes part approval documentation to assure that customers’ requirements are

  • met in new or modified products and processes.

  • Analyzes Operations Quality Metrics and performs managerial reviews (WOR / MOR)to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps

  • Develops and implements a Quality structure capable of supporting defined operational value streams

  • Leads improvement teams in the development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, PPAP and Special Processes and analysis of out of control    conditions                    

  • To act as nominated delegate in absence of the Quality Plant Manger

  • Ensures Quality functions are completed with accuracy, integrity and efficiency

  • Execution of Leader Standard Work and Daily Accountability for themselves and direct reports

  • To conduct performance evaluations of all staff (APEX / PDR)

  • To participate in organizational capability assessments of staff, to ensure competencies requirements are met and develop plans are formulated

  • Deployment and development of Quality Best practices IAW latest criteria


Qualifications

Are you?

 Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

 Minimum five (5) years working in the Quality function within a manufacturing environment.

 Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisor or leadership role

 Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
