Senior Engineer - Aerospace

This exciting role is a part of Aerospace group with the primary responsibility to ensure Systems Validation & Verification of Fuel Systems comprising of Aircraft Fuel Distribution, Inerting & Gauging System.

Your essential responsibilities:
  • Lead & execute projects & technologies to verify Aerospace Fuel Systems of Inerting & Distribution
  • Understand Systems requirements and prepare flow down to develop Test Equipment requirements to verify systems compliance. 
  • Prepare Systems Validation & Verification plans, procedures & test reports
  • Develop Systems verification test equipment architectures for Fuel Systems comprising of hardware, software architectures
  • Develop Electrical & Software architectures for Systems Test Equipment leveraging E-CAD tools and Labview.
  • Development of Test Equipment Architecture Trade studies, architecture compliance determination through system modeling & analysis
  • Drive and promote predictable execution in team by leveraging Design for Six sigma methodology for new product development.
  • Understanding customer requirements, performing requirements decomposition/flow-down.  Identification of CTQs & performing CTQ flow down for System Test Equipment
  • Development of analytical models for prediction of component & system performance
  • Perform System Validation & Verification planning & pertinent artifacts, Support prototypes development and testing in order to verify design solutions and support  product development activities till commercialization phase.
  • Take ownership of Quality goals for the product development and manage triple constraints of the project.
  • Ensure quality and on time delivery of engineering artifacts through ENOVIA. Perform quality checks to ensure design meets Eaton and customer standards / requirements.
  • Lead critical reviews and provide technical mentoring on complex projects involving multiple components or systems.
  • Develop subject matter experts in the team through technical training, guidance and mentoring
  • Maintain effective communications- both verbal & written with customers, team members and cross functional team members. Provide regular update to leadership team on Technical status and project risks.
  • Update knowledge base & identify opportunities to expand the Organizational capabilities through new technologies and methods.
  • Be an active professional in continuous learning resulting in enhancement of organizational objectives
  • Demonstrate high ambition, drive for results, enthusiasm and strong practical engineering experience to compliment his/her technical ability
  • Prepare Systems Validation & Verification plans, procedures & test reports
  • Develop Systems verification test equipment architectures for Fuel Systems
  • Provide technical leadership to Fuel Systems by leading Systems verification activities in NPI, NTI, driving process improvements to contribute to accomplish the objectives of Aerospace Fuel Systems division.


If you are:
  • Bachelor’s , Master’s in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering/Aerospace Engineering with 6+ years of experience in Aerospace Fuel Systems Verification.
  • Labview certified professional
  • Strong knowledge of Aerospace Fuel Systems – Inerting, Distribution & Gauging System.
  • Demonstrated experiences in Design & Development of Automated Test Equipments
  • Proven ability to conceive Test Equipment Architectures ideas and demonstrate feasibility through relevant engineering calculations/predictions.
  • Expertise in developing Electrical, Software architectures for Test Equipment.
  • Expertise in Labview, Labview programing. Test scripts & verification for test scripts for robust design of test equipment.
  • Demonstrated Experiences in Systems Verification Methods
  • Demonstrated experiences in Requirements elicitation, Requirements validation & Requirement compliance assessment to verify Systems utilizing System Test Equipments
  • Demonstrated experiences in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Demonstrated experiences in Systems Validation & Verification, Knowledge of experimental test procedures and creating Engineering test plan documents.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading technology, product development and innovation in similar engineering organizations.  Developing multi generation technology and product development plans
  • Demonstrated expertise in Electrical and Mechanical CAD Tools (E-CAD, Matlab/Simulink, MathCAD, Pro/E, CATIA)
  • Experiences with Continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experiences with Systems Engineering
  • Experience with the Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology and tools necessary.
  • Experiences in systematic problem solving methods and tools.
  • Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability.
  • Experience in PLM tools (ENOVIA)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience interfacing with global teams and working in matrix organization.
  • Developing positive customer relations
  • Demonstrated tenacity and flexibility to reliably achieve goals.
