Eaton’s Power System Division is currently seeking an Assembler 2nd Shift to join our team. This role is based out of our South Milwaukee location.
The Assembler is responsible for building kits and kitting units for Vacuum Fault Interrupters. The assembler will perform a variety of diversified sub and final assembly operations on our overhead switchgear product line which contain a large number of parts and substantial fitting and aligning of components.

- You will set-up, build, test & pallatize overhead Switchgear Units
- You will screen defective parts or make adjustments as necessary.
- You will perform soldering or brazing as required.
- You will use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job.
- You will potentially be assigned to perform circuit testing or Hi-Pot testing.
- You will adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.
1 -2 years’ experience in complex electrical and mechanical assembly.
