Eaton’s Lighting Division is seeking a Pricing Operations Analyst.  This position will be based in our Peachtree City, GA facility.


Position Overview:
The Pricing Operations Analyst will focus on business processes that provide system pricing rules and improving complex processes related to Eaton Lighting’s business pricing rules. This position is accountable for establishing and maintaining; C&I, Retail, National Accounts, Streetworks and International pricing rules that is used in various pricing applications. This position will also be responsible for managing database rules, maintaining product pricing/commissions, managing SAP updates used in the pricing software and tracking/calculating various rebates. Other responsibilities include; improving pricing agreement efficiency (rebates, promos), lead role in improvement of pricing software, help in establishing various software specifications, process and procedures across business units.


A core responsibility will be developing an internal process/audit mythology regarding commissions, pricing errors and any errors related to Eaton’s processes and business systems; ensuring the entire Lighting pricing organizations follows a consistent pricing protocol.  In addition, this person would drive lean methodologies for continuous improvement and cross-functional strategy alignment between various parts of our business. Identify and correct related exceptions, proper resolution of channel conflicts, adherence to related and relevant company policies, and cross-matrix collaboration.

In this function you will:

  • Migrate pricing rules to support negotiated business, promotions and price increases

  • Implement new product availability and pricing in our pricing software and databases

  • Schedule, prioritize and test all price changes to mitigate risk to the business

  • Lead the end to end resolutions of system and process related to pricing and software errors. 

  • Remove or minimize IT dependency for price setting and maintenance

  • Improve processes related to our go-to market pricing mechanisms (pricing rules, commissions, rebates, promos, product data management). 

  • Update the price optimization methodology to reflect the business needs

  • Partner with pricing managers and analyst to understand current and future needs in our offerings and to increase self-empowerment.

  • Allow for price models to be established for pre-production products

  • Consolidated and increase price analytics capabilities

  • Develop processes and procedures to continuously improve the efficiency of price maintenance

Eaton has announced its intent to spinoff its Lighting Business into publicly traded company (“SpinCo”).  This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2019 and this position is expected to remain with SpinCo.   The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices.  The Lighting Business is in the process of developing its total rewards philosophy, strategy and structure, including the design of its benefits and annual and long-term incentive plans that will take effect when SpinCo becomes a publicly traded company. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Lighting Business when SpinCo becomes an independent, publicly traded company, you will be eligible to participate in SpinCo’s compensation, health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans and programs and should have no expectations that SpinCo’s plans and programs will mirror or be substantially similar to Eaton’s.

Basic(Must Have) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer support experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of systems experience (SAP, CPQ and/or other Pricing software)

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience
  • 5 years of system experience (SAP, BW, Access Database, SQL)
  • Experience in a lighting industry
