Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a HR Manager to join our team.
The HR Manager is responsible for support the plant in meeting customer expectations by developing & administering HR policies, processes, & programs and behave as business partner.

Some activities related with the position will be:
List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.
A. Ensure that the plant complies with all relevant employment legislation & company policies.
B. Promote and Maintain a positive environment within the organization were all employees feel motivated and engaged to contribute with plant results.
C. Support & advise plant management & employees in regard to company policies & national employment legislation
D. Promote a positive employee relations and Plant Culture through implementation of Eaton Code of Ethics, Philosophy and Values.
E. Represent the company in collective bargaining negotiations & management/union meetings
F. Lead & improve training & development related processes, including needs analysis, design & training delivery, & development programs. Foster Learning Organization Culture
G. Manage salary & wage processes, including ensuring benchmarking within Eaton & external marketplace data
I. Support plant operations through planning headcount & manning levels & recruitment of all levels of staff, as required
J. Introduce & implement HR policies & procedures, including performance management processes (APEX), in accordance with Eaton standards.
K. Provide leadership, management, coaching & development to staff members.
L. Promote Safety & Continuous Improvement as a Culture.
Ensure participation of employees in trainings and MESH deployment. MESH Champion Category 10. Occupational Health

Bachelor’s degree required; oriented to HR &/or business preferred.
5 years supervisory experience in HR, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation.
Bi-lingual (Spanish & English-language capability, speaking, reading & writing).
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to build trust & maintain confidentiality is critical
Demonstrated organizational & prioritization skills.
- Assess talent and coach peers.
