This exciting role is a part of Aerospace group and the individual will be responsible for requirement management, process & tools deployment for Aerospace hydraulic systems, fuel systems, actuation systems, fluid distribution system, and (or) electronic controllers and comply with industry standards.
Your essential responsibilities:
Responsible for requirement management, change management through DOORS, DOORS Next Gen, ClearQuest and publishing specs through RPE.
Performs validation, compliance assessment, verification of requirements at different phases of product life cycle development for hydraulic systems, fuel systems, actuation systems, fluid distribution system, and (or) electronic controllers.
Coordinates with cross functional teams to identify the missing requirements and capturing the requirements from regulatory, industry standards.
Collaborates effectively with the product teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful deployment of Requirements Management.
Drives the continuous improvement behavior in deployment of RM tools and leveraging the DXL, SYSML
Produces the Requirement Management metric and participate in technical/ programs reviews with in internal teams external customers.
Provides the technical mentoring in requirement management process, tools and industry standards.
Leverages DFSS, Lean and Eaton process for driving results and product improvements
Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide timely status and reports to stakeholders
If you are:
- Required: Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering / Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics with 6 + years of experience.
- Desired: Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics 3 + years of experience
- Overall 6+ years’ experience, Minimum 3 years’ experience in requirement management tools and Requirements capture, validation, verification and configuration management
- Advanced knowledge in requirement management tools DOORS, ClearQuest and RPE
Working knowledge of DOORS Next Gen, DXL and SYML programming
Awareness of reading drawings, 2-D & 3-D Models and other types of engineering specification documents
Knowledgeable in industry standards ARP 4754, 4761, RTCA DO-160, 178, 254, MIL-810.
Experience in configuration management and Quality Management System
Knowledgeable of Aerospace hydraulic systems, fuel systems, actuation systems, fluid distribution system, electronic controllers etc is a plus
Design for Six Sigma Green Belt certification from reputed organization or institute
- Experience in Rational Rhapsody is added advantage.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary systems programs/products
