Expand your experience, gain global exposure, develop leadership competencies and gain knowledge of Eaton’s business, products, processes and functions with Eaton’s Graduate Leadership Development Program in Sales and Marketing area. The program will help the participant develop a wide range of Eaton leadership competencies such as business strategy, business acumen and leveraging resources.
As a participant in the program, you will complete two assignments that will give you the hands-on experience. These assignments include working in sales, marketing, digital marketing, channel development, product marketing and product management in the electrical sector of Eaton.
Leadership Exposure: Participants will have a high level of interaction with Eaton Leadership.
You will also be expected to work with other participants in the program on projects outside of your assigned location.
In the first assignment you will be in UK (Slough) or Germany (Bonn) in the role of Digital Reseller. You will be part of the EMEA channel organization who are managing business with our Distribution, Strategic Reseller, VARS, Systems integrators and Alliance, partnerships
Your key responsibilities are:
Support Channel Marketing and Sales Organization on the definition of a new eCommerce Policy (Process, tools and technologies) to support the growth of Digital Resellers
Defining framework to identify partner profile and ecosystem, defining strengths and focus areas of our existing Product offer for Digital Resellers and existing Partners evolving a digital transformation of their business.
Identify Emerging partner business models, key profitability drivers and how to tailor our value proposition
Channel account Mapping (Understand partner business model (i.e.: new consumption models) and targeted customers, identify key stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers)
Develop sales and marketing enablement activities to stimulate the creation of multi-product + service solutions leveraging other parts of vendor ecosystem if needed (- alignment with Partner Programs): One Eaton offer
Develop enablement training and certification to support partner needs.
Identify Alliance & become Solution Advisor to deliver more vertical market solutions to enterprise customers
Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills.
Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.
Participants will need to relocate for the second assignment, possible locations are UK and Germany.
After completion of the program, your experience and newly acquired skills could qualify you for roles such as product manager, digital channel lead, senior marketing analyst.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or engineering with an emphasis on Marketing, Sales or Commercial
Work or internship experience within Marketing or Sales, Field Channel Sales, Strategy is a plus (max 3 years of experience)
Geographically flexible, mobile
Desire to build a career in areas in Marketing, Sales or Product Management
Leadership attitude and/or demonstrated leadership experience within university or community
Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English, German
