Human Resources Manager
Energy Automation Solutions Division has an opening for a Human Resources Manager at its Montreal, Quebec location.
The Human Resources Manager provides leadership to three (3) Canadian sites (Montreal, St-Bruno, St-Romuald/Levis) for the Energy Automation Solutions (EAS) division under the Electrical sector. This role is critical in executing our talent initiatives, providing a high level of internal customer support and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability and drive culture change to align with business goals.
Implement effective and robust change management and communication plans for all key stakeholders that ensure positive outcomes for the division.
Utilize best practice methodologies to enhance organization structure, roles and responsibilities, job redesigns and job descriptions and skills assessments
Partner with leaders to assess talent needs. Develop talent management strategy to address any gaps or opportunity areas.
Drive HR functional excellence through deployment of Eaton programs, ensuring quality of process and content alignment with the Eaton Business System.
Act as a change agent and lead key change management initiatives for the three sites and/or assigned business teams.
Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations, performance management and facilitation of informal/formal investigations.
Monitor the "pulse" of employees to ensure employees are engaged.
Lead and assist with HR projects and programs throughout the EAS division
Lead the French Language Committee for the region.
Ensure compliance with all country and province specific laws.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of Human Resource experience working in a matrix environment.
- Fluency in English and French
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- Relocation is not being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 80km-radius of Montreal, Quebec will be considered.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Develop and adapt HR programs to support the business and its employees.
Demonstrated ability to learn the business and be a leader of the HR function for the region.
Capability to effectively coach and mentor.
Strong knowledge of country and province employment regulations required.

Highly organized and demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, keep projects on schedule, and ability to address quickly changing business requirements
