We are looking forward to a Sales Director, Customized Power Quality in Eaton’s Electrical business, based in Taipei, Taiwan.

This exciting role is responsible for managing and growing OEM/ODM sales and achieving annual sales / margins / growth targets. Main functions include:

  • Leading the sales & marketing functions in driving business growth initiatives.

  • Partnership with PLM, engineering, PMO and operations team in driving organizational productivity initiatives.

  • Manage large accounts customer by establishing strong relationship, mapping of long term product road map, driving year over year growth continuously.

  • Manage small, medium size account by developing them into larger accounts by expanding product offer, taking share from competition, working with them to penetrate new markets.

  • Resourcefully acquiring new accounts for the business.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead team to achieve sales targets. Maintain and develop new customers and channels to enhance sales volume and growth.

  • Identify, determine market trends and requirements for current, potential customers. Develop possibilities for future growth.

  • Analyze and evaluate competitors’ tactics and strategy, considering market trends in consideration of business opportunities and development. Stay abreast of emerging technology and competitive trends.

  • Cooperate strongly and aligns with product management, R&D, customer service, and marketing team and drive effective as well as high organization performance to meet goals and targets.

  • Troubleshoot critical business issues including root cause analysis and corrective action.

  • Recommend insightful market perspective and advise annual product innovation roadmap. Participate new product planning of next generation UPS product lines.

  • Encourage high employee engagement and conduct necessary change management to build up organizational capability and drive high performance culture.

  • Prepare the annual operating review (monthly and quarterly reviews) and planning processes (profit plan, strategic plan).

  • Establish a superior sustaining support for products and services to achieve customer satisfactory.

  • Support professional technical presentations and trainings to customers including product/service solutions, technical solutions and recommendations to deliver high values to customers.

  • Lead management of the customer relationship, maintaining customer satisfaction, yet assuring that scope is managed appropriately.

  • Lead, develop, and facilitate team member’s personal development based on Eaton competencies and to work cross-function efficiently.

Qualifications

If you are:

  • 10+ years of sales experience, preferable with sales experience in OEM/ODM management.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with engineering background.

  • Fluent in English and Chinese (verbal and written) are essential, knowledge of third or fourth language is a plus.

  • Familiar with electrical products and markets, preferable technical expertise of Single Phase UPS and Solar products.

  • Solid business acumen.

  • Superior capability of market analysis and new business development.

  • Strong problem-solver with the ability to present issues clearly and provide answers.

  • Committed to excellence; positive attitude, meets deadlines and has attention to details.

  • Superior communication skills (written, presentation, speaking, listening) and work cross-function, regions.

  • Successful experience in business turnaround is a plus.
