Job Description

Eaton’s Power Quality division is currently seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC facility.


We are committed to growing market share for our Power Quality Infrastructure solutions business with our IT Distributors and Direct Market Resellers (DMRs). Eaton’s strategy is to recruit, educate and enable resellers to effectively market and sell our award-winning products, software and services to IT Resellers and their end customers.  We are looking for someone that can design, build, and execute innovative marketing programs to our channel partners through our PowerAdvantage Partner Program and through marketing programs directly with Distributors and DMRs.

  • You will develop and implement compelling channel marketing programs and tools for IT Resellers and the Eaton sales force

  • You will interact directly with distribution contacts and DMR contacts to create and execute on integrated marketing plans to effectively increase our market share.  You will effectively and efficiently utilize marketing investments to generate demand for resellers

  • You will collaborate with National Account Managers (NAMs) and Eaton funded resources on-going program initiatives and develop joint business plans/co-marketing activities to increase number of resellers in program

  • You will create and maintain marketing collateral and sales incentives for accounts, as required

  • You will lead/support trade shows and events, as needed, including event messaging, follow-up and partner on-boarding

  • You will collaborate with the other Channel Marketing Managers on the team to create synergies with the program and our sales team and also appropriately leverage other resources such as marcomm, product managers, and business value managers

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution

  • 5 years of progressive experience in marketing or sales support 

  • This candidate must have authorization to work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications

  • Masters of Business Administration Degree from an accredited educational institution

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing or sales support

  • Experience in Electrical and/or IT/Electronic industry

  • Experience with data center market, data closet market and the IT channel

  • Experience with customer meetings and presentations

  • Good balance of technical and commercial acumen

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
