Eaton’s Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to join our team.

This position is based at our Waukesha, Wisconsin facility.

 

The senior logistics analyst will be developed as the subject matter expert.  This role will be expected to continually look at the supply chain and offer recommendations for improvement and cost savings.  Interaction will be required from corporate level to plant operations on both a domestic and international scope.  Ideally this candidate can grow into a managerial role.

Continuous Improvement
  • You will develop or update standard operating procedures for all logistics processes
  • You will support the development and implementation of new processes under the guidance of management
  • You will provide recommendations on optimal transportation modes, routings and frequency
  • You will assist corporate logistics teams with RFP, RFQ, benchmarking and frequency
Carrier Management
  • You will develop and grow positive working relationships with all international and domestic providers.
  • You will hold quarterly business reviews with providers.
  • You will perform forwarder, carrier and broker vetting to ensure we have a backlog of carriers as a contingency.
  • You will support freight claims process for the division.
  • You will support freight payment activities with 3rd party provider
Shipment Execution
  • You will provide guidance and support daily domestic and international logistics operations
  • You will ensure SAP is being utilized to its fullest capabilities for transportation and warehousing
Analytics
  • You will analyze, validate, manipulate and manage large amounts of transportation data.
  • You will summarize data and present recommendations to plants.
  • You will track savings and publish metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • You will provide support and direction to logistics manager with analytics

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • There are no relocation benefits being offered so all candidates must live within 50 miles of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Position Success Criteria:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work alone to find trends, variances, opportunities and report up.
  • Project management skills
  • DOT regulations including OD, carrier contracts, NMFC classification and rating structures.
  • International trade such as HTS codes, ISF filings, AES, ECCN codes, Buy American Act, COO determination, duty management, Anti-dumping, boycotts, transfer pricing and FTA.
  • SAP SD LE MM super-user
  • Microsoft Suite including Visio, Excel, and Power BI
