The position supports Enterprise IT’s Financial Management OPEX organization with IT capital, IT Allocation and reporting processes, as well as prepares ad-hoc analysis as needed.    Activities will include, but are not be limited to, assisting with the collection, consolidation, and reporting IT capital and IT Allocation data, assisting with the support of the IT Finance QlikView monitors, and performing ad hoc analysis as needed.  Ensures expenses and financial data is accurately accounted for and reported, as well as recorded in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Eaton financial policies


Your essential responsibilities:

  • Assists with the consolidation of IT capital and IT Allocation data (annual profit plan, monthly actuals and forecast)

  • Generates and uploads standard month-end reports in the Enterprise IT SharePoint site.

  • Coordinates updates to data needed for the IT Finance QlikView monitors.

  • Assists with the governance over the monitors to ensure the data is accurate and complete.

  • Updates monthly IT financial data in tools used by budget managers.

  • Provides non-routine analytical support to the Enterprise IT Finance OPEX team.

  • Develops standard reporting templates.

  • Identifies, designs and implements productivity improvements.

Basic Requirements:

  • Accounting major (B. Com) & CA/ICWA/CFA/MBA (Finance), preferable.

  • 3-5 years of financial reporting experience in forecasting, Budgeting and Variance Analysis

  • Work Timing: 12:30 to 21:30. Flexible to work longer hours during as needed


  • Position Criteria:


    • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools –OBIEE and QlikView, Hyperion, ENCORE, RADAR, etc. would be an asset

    • Experience with working with ERP. Working knowledge of Oracle Financials and/or SAP preferred

    • Very proficient with MS Excel and reporting tools

    • Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data so that the resulting comments describe the key risks and drivers

    • Captive/Multinational experience (pre-requisite), adaptable to varying cultures

    • Good interpersonal skills

    • Excellent communication skills in English are required

    • Work well under pressure and be skilled at managing multiple tasks within demanding timelines

    • Eager to work in a dynamic and complex organization

    • High level of enthusiasm with a “can-do” attitude

    • Passion for business and ability to drive change

    • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills. 

    • Motivated self-starter who assumes responsibility for the end-to-end process (costs & forecast).  Enjoys seeking opportunities to improve & streamline financial processes. 

    • Demonstrates a keen eye for detail when providing error-free communications.

    • Great interpersonal skills.

    • Problem-solver able to troubleshoot issues encountered with suppliers and/or members of the IT functions

    • Acts as a financial analyst to members of the IT finance team, as well as suppliers-takes pride in providing specialist financial support to a corporate function.
