Eaton’s Lighting Division is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team. This position is based at our Atlanta, GA Lighting Division Midtown Office.


The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to three to four Vice Presidents. This position provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to the business leaders and their teams. In this role, you will serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding a variety of issues. This position requires strong organizational, analytical and communication skills and requires you to be able to work with all levels of the organization.

  • You will manage heavy calendar schedules, small and large meeting coordination, and light phone management.
  • You will select travel arrangements for the executives, as well as external visitors to the facility.
  • You will prepare advanced presentations and reports for business reviews, meetings and events.
  • You will participate in planning and coordinating company employee activities and events.
  • You will provide content for campus communications and newsletter.
  • You will create and update employee badges and access levels to the facility.
  • You will maintain confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • You will analyze processes to look for opportunities to make sure they are as lean as possible.
  • You will coordinate and schedule catering orders and services.
  • You will perform other duties for projects and various responsibilities as assigned.
Eaton has announced its intent to spinoff its Lighting Business into publicly traded company (“SpinCo”).  This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2019 and this position is expected to remain with SpinCo.   The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices.  The Lighting Business is in the process of developing its total rewards philosophy, strategy and structure, including the design of its benefits and annual and long-term incentive plans that will take effect when SpinCo becomes a publicly traded company. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Lighting Business when SpinCo becomes an independent, publicly traded company, you will be eligible to participate in SpinCo’s compensation, health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans and programs and should have no expectations that SpinCo’s plans and programs will mirror or be substantially similar to Eaton’s.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional business environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Administrative experience including responsibility for bookkeeping/financial duties and office equipment operations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting C-Suite executive leadership
