Eaton’s Fuel & Motion Controls Systems division, a part of our Aerospace group, is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility.
The Project Engineer is responsible for the technical coordination of product improvement changes or second source / retrofit offerings to drive aftermarket growth and cost-out opportunities. In this role, you will champion future growth opportunities include adaptation of existing technologies to new customer applications and development of new pumping technologies to expand Eaton’s market.

You will interface with customers and other external and internal functions to define the technical requirements for new projects.
You will prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and schedules for proposed projects.
You will prepare and maintain technical reports and presents technical information to Customers and internal personnel in program reviews.
You will report technical program metrics in accordance with Eaton Aerospace Common Engineering Standards.
You will coordinate timely and cost-effective responses to technical inquiries from Customers and end users for products in service, including investigations to establish root cause of reported problems.
You will define required work tasks for support personnel and prepares clear and concise reports documenting conclusions and recommended corrective actions. In conjunction, works to define Product Improvement changes which can drive aftermarket and cost-out opportunities.
You will establish cost-effective test plans to demonstrate product conformance with Customer requirements, including test parameters to Test Engineering group for test procedure preparation, review and approval of test procedures, and oversight of product testing.
You will provide Manufacturing Cell support as assigned by Engineering Management to ensure timely disposition of non-conforming hardware without sacrificing final product quality that could lead to operational deficiencies in the field.

- Excellent organizational and planning skills
Desired 6 month to 2 years Aerospace Experience (Co-op or Intern experience is applicable)
- Experience with MATLAB or CATIA
- Enovia experience
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, engineers, customers or the general public
Ability to define problems, analyze data and draw valid conclusions that result in solid recommendations
Ability to demonstrate a high level of energy and personal drive
