Eaton’s Hydraulics  division is currently seeking Operations Manager to join our team. This position is based at our  Queretaro location

The Operations Manager is responsible for coordinate operations in distribution center in alignment with internal team and costumer requirements. In this role, you will follow-up with costumers daily, manage on time delivery to ensure consistent flow of materials, providing daily updates to the costumers due dates coordinating by planning/master scheduling teams

  • You will make sure customer service team keep high level of service maintained and improved for internal and external customer satisfaction. Our expectation should be reflected in customer growth.

  • You will lead to introduce and manage Materials Planning procedures, make sure that there are processes to manage items while inventory levels are optimized. This includes the management of the master schedule working and providing feedback with supplier planner team.

  • You will lead with costumer service team to establish processes of deliver the systems required to facilitate Demand Management and Planning Outbound Shipments follow-up as part of the performance in service and on-time deliveries.  

  • You will monitor behavior of purchasing and customers invoicing, and MFG reports needed to support these activities, ensuring that information used for planning of make item (MPS) is accurately presented in the system in order to provide reliable downstream information.

  • You will contribute ideas for improvement, identifying areas of opportunity that are likely to improve the performance and results of operational objectives.

  • You will involve Costumer service team to get contribution to sales analysis and implementation of Forecast and PP (Daily and Monthly reports)

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required Engineering (Mechanical/metallurgical/Industrial
    • 5 + years’ experience in a management position (preferably Automotive)

      • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques & manufacturing processes

      • Background/experience in quality basics such as statistical process control

      • Experience conducting multidisciplinary teams
      • Ability to conceptualize solutions to problems, develop teams to solve problems, acquire resources and see projects through to completion

         

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Application of capital procurement policies & procedures

      • Demonstrated knowledge of computer operating systems, languages, hardware interfacing

      • English language at a conversational level required

      • Experience Lean and Six Sigma
      • Solid communication skills to communicate ideas, recommendations and requests in a clear and concise manner to all levels within and outside the company (in writing and verbally)

      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, report on progress regularly and manage time and teams

      • Knowledge and compliance with the standards that rules the IATF16949
