Job Description

Eaton’s Power System division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

This position is based at our Querétaro facility.

In this role you will:

 

  1. Manages and coordinates human resources to achieve the PM master plan and execute Corrective Maintenance activities.

     

  2. Issue daily work orders and maintain work and equipment records.

     

  3. Analyze facility requirements for air, water, in house electrical distribution, and building grounds maintenance.

     

  4. Responsible for the development and implementation of an effective PM system.  Oversee and balance PM schedules.

     

  5. Effectively manage scheduled and unscheduled resource demands to maximize plant/equipment uptime.          

  6. Lead full implementation of TPM, resources for the implementation

     

  7. Ensure the maintenance effectiveness through, MTTR (Main Time to Repair) and MTBF (Main Time between Failures) indicators.

     

  8. Ensure expenses are below the forecast, CONC and Spare Parts for critical machines.

     

  9. Participate in safety coaching.  Provide EHS training (100% completion).  Complete assigned EHS inspections.  Respond to department EHS concerns.  Enforce the rules.  Include Safety topics in department meetings.

     

  10. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and MESH compliance.

     

  11. Promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.

     

  12. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

 

  1. Leads Root cause analysis of recurring problems to reduce equipment downtime and minimize costs.

Required Qualifications:

 

  1. Electronic, Electric, Mechanical Engineering Bachelor´s degree or similar.

     

  2. 3 – 5 years’ experience in a supervision position.

     

  3. English – language capability, speaking, reading & writing required

     

  4. Broad technical knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, plant engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs and systems application.

     

  5. Strong leadership skills

     

  6. Knowledge in facilities (air, water, etc).

     

  7. Knowledge in maintaining high tech CNC equipment as well as conventional equipment.

     

  8. Project Management

 

  1. Problem solving methodologies and statistical tools. 8D, A3, SPC

     

  2. Knowledge of elements of machine design, operation and repair.

     

  3.  Manual and computer aided drafting techniques

     

  4. Knowledge of product and process costing, plant layout, product engineering and capital justification.
