Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description

This position is responsible to directly supervise employees in the Production Department.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training to employees, planning, assigning and directing production work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems, execution and deployment of CIF and OO tools. Will provide functional support for both managerial staff and supervisors on 2nd. and 3rd. shift operations.  Also, it is his/her responsibility to maintain a safe work environment with high ethical standards, following and modeling Eaton's Attributes and Competencies as established by Eaton's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering completed.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience providing direct work direction to people/employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Systems:  computer literacy - intermediate knowledge and experience - Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
