Commercial Financial Analyst
Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Commercial Financial Analyst within the Lighting division. This position is based at our Peachtree City, GA location.
This position collaborates with the Commercial Finance Leader on commercial/sales-related financial activities to ensure that financial objectives and results are in alignment with the broader organizational initiatives and objectives. The position reports directly to the Commercial Finance Leader for the Lighting division.

The Commercial Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Front End commercial team. You will:
Assist the commercial finance manager with financial, commercial and strategic support for the sales functions
Requirements include collaborating on monthly forecast revisions and annual profit plan preparation
Front end commercial analysis (Rebate/Promotions/Agent Commissions)
Ongoing internal analysis to provide management with timely and pertinent financial information for decision making (daily, monthly and ad hoc reporting)
Improve upon existing processes and create new models for business dealings
Provide reporting support and process improvement around gross-to-net programs
Prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations
Review contracts, analyze terms and conditions, prepare contract summaries and provide reminders for contract renewals, extensions, evergreen notices, cancellations and other required notices.
Interface with accounting and other internal groups to maximize contract compliance and net income.

Minimum of 3 years work experience in progressive finance/accounting roles.
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics or a related field from an accredited institution
No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Peachtree city, GA to be considered.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
•Technically proficient in HFM/Hyperion Planning and Visual Basic
•Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to the team.
•Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a fast pace team environment
•Strong analytical skills and ability to develop financial models for decision support, asset optimization and project management.
•Understanding of basic accounting principles.
•Ability to develop and effectively interact with internal and external customers.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
