Assembly Team Lead
Working for Eaton’s award-winning engineering team, you will lead and manage the assembly team at the Titchfield site.
Your key deliverables:
As part of the Engineering team, the assembly team lead is to delegate and assign work to their direct reports, report daily to the engineering manager on status and attend project meetings being the focal point for all the project and NPI work. You will take ownership of the job, attending projects reviews giving information to the project team on progress.
Take overall responsibility for the Test manager during any absence such as holiday or sickness.
Day to day leadership of your team members – Assign and delegate work as required
Give daily reports to the Engineering Manager on status of all current jobs
Assume all responsibilities of the Engineering Manager when out of the office
Planning – Give completion dates to project teams for all work
Ability to approve overtime when required to meet deadlines
Assist with 5S audits and EHS reviews as required
Attend MRB’s, iPDR & iCDR as required
Approval of team member spend up to the designated limit
Manage all jobs entering the area through planning to ensure both engineering and NPI work is completed.
Manage the flow of components from NPI and Operations through assembly and into test
Proven management of people/Leadership experience – Developing team members
Knowledge of aircraft fuel system component builds.
Knowledge of electro-mechanical engineering.
Knowledge of assembly techniques for aerospace.
Are your degree qualified
