Eaton’s Hydraulic division is currently seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility

The Sr. Logistics Analyst is responsible to manage the Importation and Exportation Areas to ensure Customs Compliance, border crossing of Raw material, finished goods, equipment, Inventory conciliation between I/E software & MRP, auditing pediments and US entries, Duty payment for products, NAFTA benefits on all products, review of classification under Harmonized Tariff Schedule, ability to I/E (productive and nonproductive) products according to Mexican and US regulation, Coordinate areas to obtain certifications for foreign trade benefits (VAT, OEA, C-TPAT) and ensure the compliance of Mexican authorities requirements and reports according with obtained certifications.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  1. Ensure integrity Customs Compliance
  2. Ability to work with the New Customs Regulations

  3. Monitoring Daily Operations for Import & Export of Raw Materials, FG’s, Equipment, Scrap, MRO,

  4. Follow up for Shipping and Receiving process, returns, damaged material claims, etc.

  5. Strong Control of Import and Export Requirements (Invoices, Packing List, CoO, BL, APA, etc.)

  6. Support OEA/CTPAT audits and requirements

  7. Review of Product Values & Costs, Country of Origin, Certificates Nafta or Manufacturer Affidavit, etc. for Daily Operations

  8. Monitoring and Process with GTM all Mexican Vendors Operations  (Pedimientos Virtuales) and Submaquilas

  9. Logistics Coordination and Monitoring of all shipments from/to US and Overseas

  10. Elaborate Internal Weekly and Monthly Reports for Logistics Operations

  11. Ability to work with GTM to Request Nafta Certificates for Raw Materials, Identify New products and BOMS

  12. Daily Follow up with Customs Agents, Direct Carriers & Forwarders

  13. Support and Meet all metrics and goals associated with the I/E department

  14. Tracking of changes in finished goods structure.

  15. Contact with direct supplier in order to obtain country of origin and technical sheet of raw material.

  16. Exceed the expectation of internal and external customers as it relates to on time delivery, quality and timely decision making

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade or Logistics
  • 3-5 years of experience in Logistics in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven Knowledge managing IMMEX, IVA/IEPS, PROSEC
  • Advance level of Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas)
  • Knowledge of Customs Regulations
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Experience or knowledge with expedited shipments
  • Knowledge Vastera or Annex 24 System preferred
  • Bilingual English / Spanish
